Tell us about yourself
I’m Kritika, a parent and education-focused founder based in Canada. StorieStack began from a simple question: what if audio stories could help children grow, not just entertain them? As a mother, I wanted screen-free content that builds empathy, critical thinking, and real-life skills. Creating audio stories felt natural — it fits into my life as both a parent and someone deeply passionate about helping children grow into thoughtful, resilient humans.
What inspired you to make this title(s)?
As a parent, I often found myself wishing for stories that didn’t just entertain, but gently shaped who my child was becoming. I wanted stories that could plant small seeds of empathy, courage, curiosity, and emotional strength.
These titles began as moments I wanted to share with my own child - questions about feelings, fairness, confidence, and growing up. Audio felt intimate and powerful, creating space for imagination and connection without screens. What started at home slowly grew into stories I hope will live in many homes, sparking meaningful conversations between parents and children.

Is there anything different about making audio for Yoto?
Creating audio for Yoto feels intentional. Yoto isn’t just another listening platform - it’s designed for children to explore independently, safely, and without screens. That changes how I think about storytelling. It encourages slower pacing, clearer emotions, and space for imagination to unfold.
What’s next?
I’m excited to keep expanding into new themes that help children navigate real life from emotions and empathy to practical topics like money, AI, nutrition, and decision-making. I’m also exploring series-based storytelling, where characters grow alongside children over time.
Long term, I hope to build a library of meaningful audio that families can return to again and again - stories that grow with children and spark conversations at every stage.
